I'm sure you have done everything by yourself and have never received any type of assistance. Let's continue to find ways to diminish what these kids are doing.

Did the 6-year old handing out candies at the rally today with a note attached reading "this is my reward for staying quite during active shooter drills" type up and print out all those messages and affix all of them to the candies to hand out as a token symbol of the toll they believe gun violence has taken on school life? Does he or she know what a "drill", "active shooter" or symbolism actually is, do they even comprehend those things?

Stop pretending that a lot of these kids aren't being used as pawns by their parents, their teachers, and the media at large. And they're happy as hell to do it, because they get to go on camera, get retweets, and told by adults how grown up and mature (and smart!) they are. It's like Brian telling Lois to just say "9/11" over and over to the raucous applause from the crowds, except it's blue check marks retweeting David Hogg and producers putting him on camera for saying "disgusting" a bunch of times.

Pick a movement or an election and there is some cute/handsome kid out there handing out something or asking a question that someone has given them. No one ever has an issue with it so let's not complain now.

I'm not pretending anything. There are thousands of adolescents and young adults who understand what's going on and they're demanding change all across the country. They've made more progress in a month than adults have been able to do in decades.

Honestly, why 1500 rounds?

I want to see it function under different temperatures, under different humidities, with high lubrication or low lubrication. I want to break in all the springs to be sure it fires and properly returns to battery properly. I want to run different loads thru it and see what it likes to eat best. My favorite weapon is the 1911 which is a notoriously picky eater. It I trust a 230 grain JHP I want to see it eat a couple hundred before I'm ready to commit. Had some real issues with hydroshocks that cops seem to love in their glocks but found it would nose ramp in my 1911. After extensive testing I found the sig a crown fed with perfect reliability, but only in 230 grain not 165 or 180.
Most of all I want to trust my gun with my life. I need to make sure it's not going to stovepipe on me or FTF when I need it. If I see it go 1500 without malfunction I'll trust it.
I suppose I just picked that number but it's from personal experience.

Like I said - good on them. But don't pretend that this is some sort of organic movement brought on without outside influences and money to do it.
Heck, I generally agree with them, but I'm not stupid enough to believe that they are some sort of heroes here to save our country.

We're all influenced by something or someone. Regardless of what success anyone has had in life they've received assistance from someone. Why does this matter? When people talk about MLK do you ever hear about where he got his funding or who influenced him?

I don't agree with MANY of the solutions they're proposing but I'm proud to see millions of kids engaged and passionate about something. That's encouraging.

Would you be equally proud if it was 6 year olds promoting enhancing the second amendment?

Isn't it a bit early for arguments to be reduced to the absurd?

I only asked because he intimated he was proud of the 6 year old handing out candles and stuff at this March.

My deepest thanks and appreciation in advance.

I agree that you're a fucking asshole.

Do you know understand, after I educated your ass with real knowledge, that the right to a jury trial, as guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment is violated more times in our modern criminal justice system than it is respected?

I guess I am asking, you understand the concept of facts?

Ready to talk about how many times the right to an attorney, as guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment is violated?

Here is a hint, it is millions of times a month shit bird.

You really come off as clever and insightful when you call names and can't get two words into a reply without misspelling a word ... never mind needing a comma after 'Sixth Amendment' not once but twice or needing the word 'do' after "... asking, you ...". Additionally, 'shitbird' is either a closed or hyphenated compound word, not an open one.

I seem to recall they weren't terribly pleased with the outcome on that.

MANY weren't pleased with the Civil Rights Act of 1957 but that didn't change the fact that it was progress.

Ok. Let's not concentrate on the 6 year old.
If there was a large gathering of teens promoting 2nd amendment rights, then, would you be equally proud?
I guess all I want to know is does your pride come from them feeling empowered to do what they think is right or is it because the teens today were nicely dovetailing with your particular views?

If you want to keep an AR-15 in your house, that's great, but you don't need bullets for it and if you want to shoot it, you should be able to go a licensed range that will sell you the bullets and only allow them to be shot on site at the range.

Any pistol other than a revolver is semi automatic in nature. Do you really mean that or are you referring to semi auto rifles only?

More towards rifles. the AR-15 is being used in many of these killings, limit it. Pretty simple.

What if I told you the ar15 is used in only a tiny fraction of killings? Say... less than 3%?

Very nice.
Sadly due to my line of work hunting is largely impossible. It's always busy those times of the year. I miss it.

I thought I saw a graphic where it was used in several of the mass killings over the past few years. Its 3%, but it would be a compromise for the anti-gun nuts. "Here's your cookie, now shut the fuck up." As part of that compromise, there definitely needs to be changes to address mental health issues in this country.

Anyway as far as these kids go I'd rather they march or speak up or build signs or write their congressman than join gangs or sling China or sit around finger fucking their cell phones. If they're doing it with the involvement of their parents so much the better. This is still America and if they want to speak up God bless them.
I dont agree with much of what I saw today but they're operating well within their rights to do all they did.
I hope I'm extended the same courtesy.

Dad gave me a beretta o/u.. it’s a cheaper one but where he hunts it’s steel and doubles and he wanted to hunt with his boys now that he’s retired. I have a Parker replica sxs that is glorious but I can’t shoot it for crap. It was the gun my grandfather took me hunting with for the first time. Need to practice more.

I’d love a nice sxs 16 gauge. But that is above my pay grade.

Very nice.
Sadly due to my line of work hunting is largely impossible. It's always busy those times of the year. I miss it.

Start your own company and hire others to do that shit during hunting season.

Yeah. Dude I dont want to be doing this much longer anyway. I've got other plans...

Manwhore?

Do you think I'd make any money?

Anyway as far as these kids go I'd rather they march or speak up or build signs or write their congressman than join gangs or sling China or sit around finger fucking their cell phones. If they're doing it with the involvement of their parents so much the better. This is still America and if they want to speak up God bless them.
I dont agree with much of what I saw today but they're operating well within their rights to do all they did.
I hope I'm extended the same courtesy.

They won't. Our country has always been, and is more so now then ever, divided. Most of its fueled by the media. People get on a side, then they dig in and there's no compromise.
