Other than the OP who posted the "can't wait" .gif I would guess.

Last night's episode was great. Maybe my favorite one. I love Dollar Bill ramming Spyros Ferrari in his Mini-van!

I don't think anyone needed to see Taylor naked. I thought for a moment she was going to turn the guy over.

Good show. Been hooked since episode 1. So many rapid fire references to pop culture and movies that sometimes get missed. The writing has always been solid but this season it has been exceptionally well done. You root for and hate Bobby at the same time. It's awesome.

This is a great show. And this last episode was fuckin' awesome.

You know what makes it a great show? Everybody in it is the "bad guy" and you're rooting for all of them as a viewer. The writing in this show is top notch. Same with the plot.

Except for Connery. He's the only "Good guy" fighting the good fight. Hasn't been corrupted yet.

Question.

Did Wendy think he was gonna plant the slide and was shocked when he changed his mind and gave it to Bobby? I wasn't sure about that one.

I think she was just surprised that Chuck decided to work with Axe. She was used to Chuck's insecurity and figured he'd do the same thing he always did.

Well, she knew he was gonna work with him because he agreed to go to his house with her to save all of their asses. I just still don't know if he told her that he was gonna plant the slide or that she even knew about the slide. Because I didn't think she was even aware that the slide was a key in the first place. She didn't know what he did with the poisoning of people. Or maybe she did. I don't know. It wasn't made clear in previous episodes.

But her reaction was of shock when he passed it to Axe.

And he was gonna plant it but changed his mind thinking the other way was better. Because he went upstairs to do so instead of going to take a piss like he asked. That was a salute to Godfather as he asked permission.

I thought Wendy- Chuck had planned to drop the slide in the house and have it served with a warrant early A.M.

Wendy was surprised Chuck did a 180 and handed over his leverage.

I agree. That's what I'm thinking. But Chuck came to the conclusion at the last minute that working with Axe was the better play. Because that would have convicted Axe but really wouldn't have saved him or his wife for their role. Plus in court Axe could have said they were at my house hours before the Feds came with a warrant. And that's reason to believe Chuck planted it. It would have been plausible for a jury. Plus he probably has cameras all over his house to see him walking upstairs.

Your're right. He did call a judge to ask for a warrant before they went in. I'm just still not absolutely sure Wendy knew his initial plan. But I think she did. She's always been loyal to Axe but when her ass was on the line she no longer had loyalty because she didn't want to go to jail for him.

And I guess here's the other question. If axe actually had the slide, which Chuck planting it would prove, why would axe keep it instead of destroying it. You just destroy the fucking thing. No point that Axe would save it in his shaving kit. Making it more logical that it was a plant. That's what Chuck was thinking when he changed his mind. Especially knowing that the Feds would discover he was at the house right before they found it.

The high possibility of Axe having security cameras was the first thing I thought of before Chuck went to the bathroom.

No way would any of that work initially planned.

This show is great. I look for Taylor to screw up royally because he/she is totally distracted with infatuation.

 We've all been there, boys...screw up at work because we have "other things" on our mind.

I read a review in the NY Times.

They said Wendy didn't know that Chuck had the slide when they went to Axe's house.

 Good ending to a good episode.

I guess it turns to Chuck's gubernatorial run now and Taylor being brushed aside at Axe?

Great season.

It almost felt like the end of the season but there are five episodes left.

The show has taken a strange turn. Bobby is known for his intellect and instincts, but now he's getting out of their winning positions and starting new with a shady tip on natural gas (from a competitor) and info on SEC investigations from that weasel Spyros? Maybe they are setting it up so that when Taylor outperforms Bobby, there will be a moral lesson in there.

I wonder if Connerty is off the show for good now or does he take a job at Axe Capital?

You just know he will get his revenge against Chuck for humiliating him. Hopefully he at least gets to hook up with Condola Rashad.

I looked up Wilbury cuz I had no idea what it meant. Isn't it a bad thing to be a Wilbury? Doesn't it mean a over the hill guy that joined another band and sucked? So why does Axe make it out to be a good thing to be a Wilbury?

Explain this to me, please.

Traveling Wilburys were a supergroup.

As Axe and Wags explain, to be a Wilbury meant you were supremely talented and supremely badass.

Ok.

Another question. What the hell does Wags do for the company. He doesn't trade. He just yells at people every now as some type of manager. But they have Axe to do that. And the other girl/guy who does actually trade and make decisions. He pretty much does nothing but make witty comments.
