Its probably too early to panic, but hearing that Lester is playing with some type of arm issue and then reading his velocity is down makes me wonder why he doesn't get shut down to correct things. They could easily start the season with Montgomery as the 5th starter.

He sits low 90s with the FB now..that's just age. I've heard nothing about the arm issue. He's probably the Cubs 4th starter, but if he doesn't get the "Title" of opening day starter, he's then a red ass.

It has been known for quite a while that he has a bone chip in his elbow. Been there for like 2 years or more.
