Hawk admits defeat MANY times during a season. From what I watch and read here, Len has turned into a complete homer who very rarely says anything negative about the Cubs.

Big difference between admitting defeat and crediting the other team for simply going out there and being better.

Yeah, I'm sure he and Theo bounce around the hallways of that ugly ass office building on Clark Street diddy bopping to The Record Company.

Is Dave Grohl in The Record Company? I'm sure they'll have a long career playing Cub Opening Days at Yak-zies.

JORR just went opposite-field on this one.

EDIT: I don't think I've ever seen a picture of the members of Real Estate before. They look like someone split Len Kasper's soul into four people and then added the lead singer of a Ben Harper tribute band.

EDIT2: on closer examination that might just be the actual Ben Harper

Dolphin my friend we have to accept what it is. Either you accept Len is the carnival barker for the Cubs and let it go or tune out. I do find it funny though how he is considered less a homer than Hawk by some.

He is not even close to the homer level of Hawk.

No one really is. Hawk is on his own planet there.

Len is a homer for sure though. As it should be.

Then yes, he is as big a homer as Hawk.
Except that Hawk actually gets pissed off and will be critical of the Sox. Len rarely says a discouraging word about the Cubs anymore.

He puts a positive spin on things but they've been pretty solid lately.

Hawk will literally say the Sox are the best team in the AL when they have the 7th best record. Its fine, Hawk is perfect.

This is a good thought

This is a stupid thought.

Len is a douche and a homer.
Hawk is a douche and an even bigger homer. yes he will credit other teams, but he makes more excuses than he gives opposing teams credit.

Let's just leave it at that.

Sorry that I like a very dear friend of mine, Ed Farmer. I grew up with his nephew and coach his great niece. We are tight.

I cannot argue with that. I have zero doubt that Ed Farmer is a good person. I just find him to be a horrible broadcaster.
