My wife likes watching the Long Island Medium show and I have seen my share of episodes watching with her. More times than not
I end up making fun of her and she refuses to watch with me any more. My bosses wife went to one over the weekend and she came
back with a lot of crazy info that there is no way she would have known about. Just curious if anyone has ever been to one before
or known someone who has and what their experience was like. My wife wants me to go to one and see if I can talk to my brother.
I think it is really creepy and don't really want to go.

Agree about the debunker Randi--he's really interesting.

Mediums and psychics work because they can read emotions and because only certain people go to see them and they bring the same experiences and needs.

Friend of the family goes to a psychic all the time. She swears by them but she is deranged so take that with a grain of salt.

My ex used to go see one that was a midget (or little person?) that claimed being a little person gave her better insight into what people were saying in the other realms. Well, it turns out that everyone's loved one was telling them to invest in a company which happened to be owned and run by the midget's husband. She had taken in hundreds of thousands of dollars from various people, some of whom began to piece things together, and went to the police. They went to question the lady, but when they arrived, she was gone -- she must have been tipped off somehow. The police have a warrant out for her, but for now, she remains a small medium at large.
