Not at all, because there is little to really worry about. The Cubs offense will be very good. They just had a few games in the beginning of the season where the team did not perform as well as they will normally. Maddon made a mistake in my opinion putting Haap at leadoff and playing him over Almora far too often and Theo made a mistake in not bringing in a good and proven leadoff hitter, but when the year is over, they will once again be amongst the top scoring teams. I don't think Cub fan are WORRIED about Hahn either. Some just find it odd that the Sux fan base wants to congratulate a GM that has had 5 losing seasons, without a single winning one and has a 6th one likely under way. The team MAY be good in a couple years, but to date, Hahn has had nothing but losing teams.

Record breaking actually if you look at strike outs.

Yes, lots of strikeouts in the first 5 games and poor situational hitting in most of them. I am saying that trend will not continue and they will have a top 5 scoring team, probably top 3. Are you saying they will have a below average offense?

They have a feast or famine offense. They will score in bunches, and go through prolonged slumps. Same problems as last season. A lot of swing and miss, and a lot of home run or bust.

Same thing as last year....win their division and go to a 4th straight NLCS..... sounds about right. Hopefully they win there this year and can play for another title. The swing and miss issue was why Chili Davis was brought in. As the season goes on, I expect that will improve.

Encouraging start on that.
