Exactly. I'm not saying every daygame. But there are going to be 2 or 3 weekday games in April and September where the Sox can and should offer up some nearly free tickets and other concession deals to entice a few more fans to come out.

I agree with that. I'm only talking about letting anyone sit anywhere on low attendance days. The value of buying premium tickets is that you have access to that closer part of the field, or you can sell and recoup some of that money. If the cheapest ticket in the house can get you there even for only part of the season it is harder to justify why you bought them at all. If they let people in to the non-season ticket holders sections that were closer that would be fine.

Yes, the Cubs care about their players and fans, so they are taking advantage of having an off day scheduled the day after what was scheduled to be opening day and play in weather that will allow the team and their fans to enjoy the opening day experience and minimize the chances for injuries to critical players. The Sux chose to play, because hell, nobody hardly shows up for the game, the team is going nowhere this year, so they must prefer to just get it over with and go ahead and lose another game as quickly as possible.
