My wife and I had this conversation recently. It started with a discussion about George Clooney. I told my wife that if he was just a random guy, he wouldn't stand out to me as good looking. She thought I was crazy. I've never really been able to look at other guys and say they are good looking or not. But, in my experience, women seem to be able to judge other women reasonably well.

So, my question is, can you look at other men and reasonably judge their attractiveness?

Also, if you're gay, you're not allowed to vote. (Imagine reading that out of context)

I think I can reasonably judge whether a man should be considered attractive or not but everyone has their own tastes. I don't
trust my wife's taste because she married me and still tells me I'm attractive, even though I know that isn't true.

By the way Clooney is a pretty darn good looking guy for being in his mid-50s. #notghey

In my experiences chicks really aren't good with judging other chicks. They like to hit you with the "she's beautiful" game then when i see them i'm like "what the fuck are you looking at".

Matt Damon's hot? I can't figure out hair or asses whether a dude's attractive or not. But I've taken various indications of what sort of celeb crushes girlfriends have/have had as some
small insight into one's self. So when my long-term ex-gf while we were dating mentioned Matt Damon as one for her Chad folder...well, that started me wondering if I was seriously that blah and maybe I had the down's or was even a full-on whatever. "Matt Damon? I don't think I can have sex with you anymore. I might start wondering if you're thinking about blah down's looking dude and then it'd be time to push you off and switch on a movie. And not a Matt Damon movie. Fugggg."

I think so, but it's easy to recognize the appeal of some guys. Young Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Peter O'Toole, Clooney, etc...handsome dudes. Then there are oddball ones that I just don't get, like Javier Bardem.
