I think the Sox end the year with the 7th best record in the AL. There are enough options in minors to get improvement out of the bullpen and Jimenez and Kopech are big upgrades.

The Sux chose to play, because hell, nobody hardly shows up for the game, the team is going nowhere this year, so they must prefer to just get it over with and go ahead and lose another game as quickly as possible.

It's tough going through a rebuild. Cubs fans went through it, and it wasn't fun, but if the GM gets it right, it's worth it in the end. Whether or not Hahn gets it right, only time will tell. In the meantime, you don't get to watch Chris Sale pitch every week for your team, and get to watch a bullpen that went from one of the better ones, to one that is greatly challenged to hold any lead. Not fun.

Their best starter (possibly two best) is pitching in the minors right now. They will be a better team talent wise in August than the team on the field today.

They won't be able to sustain any long winning streaks with the five they currently roll out.
