That would be pretty ironic.

Vegas should have a line on whether or not Stan Lee will even be alive on opening night. He's not doing too good.

Kevin Smith offered him a place to live

Wel to assemble the Gauntlet they need all the Stones and they are using one to power Vision ,so I am thinking he dies.
Maybe Capt as Evans says he does not want to do any more as well as Downey. Let Winter Soldier take up the Capt America Mantle or even Falcon, has happened in the comics.

They can share hospital beds.

Recent cinematic events lead me to believe this guy won't be one of 'em.

Doubt they kill Scarlet Witch if they want to do House of M storyline after fox/marvel merger.

Winter Soldier's story has been built up over multiple movies. I think it's fair to say they have future plans for him.

Black Widow has been rumored to be getting her own film, but who knows.

Hawkeye is supposed to have minimal screen time in this movie, but he is on an "important mission" according to reports. Plus there are rumors he is going to go by a different name/look by the end of Avengers 4.

I don't know anything for sure, but I could def see Vision and War Machine getting the axe.

The part of this movie I am looking forward to the most is the scene where Spidey and Tony Stark meet Rocket and Groot. That's gonna be hilarious.

Now I gotta go off the grid for several months since I don't go to movie theaters. Gonna be a long wait till I get to see this, I'm guessing late September till it's available for early purchase OnDemand.

I have that as well, but the reason I don't go to the theaters is my back as well as my desire to smoke weed throughout an entire film. I hear the chairs are really nice now, but even with a recliner I can only sit in a chair for an hour at most before the back starts hurting. Additionally, I really like to watch films at my own pace. I like having access to the pause button.

Last film I saw in the theater was the first Avengers movie. Too crowded and did not enjoy the experience or movie at all. Saw it again months later at home and of course loved it.

I would rank it just below The Avengers and Civil War...it is a great comic book movie. I don’t see how they resurrect people that died in this one..but anything is possible. Thanos is fantastic..probably the best comic book villain portrayed (he actually has a real purpose). It’s amazing how they juggled screen time for all the characters. They need to work on the CGI for Iron Man’s suit when Tony isn’t wearing his helmet...it’s almost as bad as Henry Cavill’s mouth in Justice League. To summarize without spoiling...It’s The Empire Strikes Back of the MCU...theatre was dead quiet at the end. Credits scene is all the way at the end.

I'm wondering if some of the tepid reactions come from the fact that it's not a complete movie, just the first half of a movie. I know in the past movies like that haven't always been received well, but then when you can see them back to back with part 2 the reaction becomes more positive.

I think it stands on it’s own quite well. It’s the last 5 minutes of the movie that are the “shit..how are they going to fix this?!?!” I think it was a great cliffhanger...definitely not as optimistic as the end of Empire Strikes Back.

dude, it's the MCU... death isn't really much of anything unless you're edward norton playing the hulk.

plus like.... you know, it's uhhh.... kind of out there in comic books from the 90s if you really endeavor to know =P

There is the Time Stone...but to give the MCU some gravitas...they should probably let those who really died be dead. There should be some real stakes...even if it is a comic book movie.

Quitest I have ever been at for a comic movie at the end.
Some of the deaths you saw coming but there where some major players taken out. Teaming Spidey, stark, star lord and strange was comic gold. I'm still numb from some of the deaths

They should have ended it with Thanos getting run over by Happy in a stretch limo. Happy walks out (Jon Favreau) and says the final line. "I started this shit, now I end it!"

I just saw it a few minutes ago. I feel like it would have been a much better movie without the GOTG in it even though one of their crew is vital to the story. Too much packed in to too little. Captain America hardly has any lines but I'm glad somebody respected Thor for how powerful he is. The Hulk got screwed.

I give it a 2.75 out of 4. I have to admit,Thanos was fantastic. Loved the cool "extra" at the end.

How can they really be dead if they have new movies coming out?

(Insert something about this day in rock history here)

Not a bad movie. But yes it is incomplete.

One of the deaths felt cheap and the other felt emotional.

it's just a giant waste of time.

"avengers" movies have been increasingly underwhelming, and this is the most empty headed of all of them.

cheap ass ending, and no rating needed. it's not a movie. it has no story arc, no main character. it's a 150 minute talk show among characters you like, that deserved something better.

just wait for whatever they decide to conclude this "story", shakes. it's like "harry potter part 7 part 1". just a tease and a cash grab to milk the franchise even more.

You guys are crazy. You’re going in knowing it’s part 1, I expected a cliffhanger. I loved this and I was prepared to bash it to hell. I thought they balanced comedy/suspense building in the beginning and middle perfectly. The end was crazy though, I’m sure everything will be fine but I’m very interested in how they get there.

The comedy was GotG level good. Multiple laugh out loud moments and a couple of extended laughs where you miss the next lines. Might have been my favorite MCU movie. Certainly gives GotGs and the Captain America films a run for their money finally.

OK, you clearly don’t know what a main character is then. He had no story, no change, and nothing was at stake for him. He had no journey and even if you want to believe he “lost” something, we are never given a reason to care. A main character has an arc. All this movie was, was This Little Thanos Went To The Market until he goes Wee Wee All the Way Home.

You’re a fanboy apologist anyway so I expect you to defend it.

This was to Chas, not Hank.

Does a movie with a cast this big NEED a main character? I don’t need a perfect story arc and character development for one person. I’m in this for overall story building, entertainment and laughs. I feel like they delivered on all three.
