this reminds me of this old thought i used to have... if you live in a city and a random person walks up and knocks on your door it's no big whoop, you live in an urban area. if you live in a suburban area and a random person walks up and knocks on your door you're alarmed (jehovah's witnesses?) and maybe a little bit heightened, but still kind of a whatever. if you live in the middle of nowhere i reckon you're planning a route to your shot/gun and/or weapon/s of choice.
