Heard from my guy that the prevailing opinion on Quintana from scouts now is that he has 4th starter stuff and that he isn't worth Cease much less Jimenez.

Quintana has broken sabermetrics. Lots of silence from the crowd (don't mean on this board) who were staunch advocates of his based on his numbers.

I've always said he was 3, I've seen nothing to change that. I still expect him to win 15 games this year 3.50 era.

What's funny? That he got taken off the hook for an atrocious performance? It happens. He's got a .500 record over a significant body of work and that's likely what he'll continue to have. My analysis of Quintana isn't based on a single game or even a single season.
