There's an old Checkers place turned into a car insurance place by my sons old ballpark. I laugh passing it each time.

Isn't the point to get drunk?

But you can drink it like tea. Which can be dangerous.

so your father posts in the B&B/G section?

At my peak I could go from dough ball in the tray to topped pizza in the oven in about 45 seconds. Shit pay, but a cool job. In a strange way, I miss it.

Frank, do they teach you to throw pizza or is it just something you figure out when there.

Also, why, when I make pizza at home is my crust so weak. Like it does not support the weight of the sauce, cheese, toppings etc. How do commercial places get that supporting crust?

Teach and trial and error.

It probably has to do with the yeast and letting the dough poof.

I never dropped a dough, but I poked holes in MAMY and pulled a few football shaped pizzas out of the oven.

Probably the kind of flour and resting permitted. I learned that the hard way

I'm much better at and prefer grilling. I think it is more fun and takes a bit more attention.

Cooking is more like a math problem. Just follow directions. But, it can be enjoyable too with a good recipe.

Now smoking....

Knocked out some salmon, chicken, mac and cheese, veggies, burgers, and hot dogs on the ole Webber this afternoon.

Damn, you either spent some time or you have a good-sized Weber. Kettle or a big-ol' gas version?

I have a classic Weber Kettle and a Vermont Casting gas and then the Oklahoma Joe smoker.

We are at the Beach so not worth having anything fancy down here. Salt air, salt water eats everything.

Webber kettle. Not quite a smoke today, but a VERY slow cook. Total grilling time 2 hours plus.

At home have ceramic grill. Best thing I own.

I prefer to think that if Bond drank rhum, that would be his, except in Havana.

Wait, people drink rum for rum? What the whole point of rum was to cut it or make a pina colada. If you want to drink real booze for taste it, it was scotch or whiskey.

Poof = rise

Check out some good Caribbean or South American rums. Delicious.

Got educated in the Caymans a few years ago.

Well that fluctuates between fun drinking time and "I gotta get 25 minutes of sleep" for about 20 hours.

Different experience.

Ugh, you are breaking my heart.

3 year old wakes up at 6 am EVERY FUCKING DAY. Finished the grilling and I took a nap.

Drinking started when I took 3 year old to the beach. Dog somehow killed a seagull at the beach. Was really scrambling to explain that to the 3 year old.
