They do suck. The lineup is fairly dependent on players who aren't going to have long careers. However, that is what we have signed on for with a rebuild. You have to allow them to develop and prove or disprove themselves.

Wasn't dumb. His baserunning instinct that 3rd would be left uncovered was wrong. Every other level he's been in, his instinct was probably correct. A live and learn play.

The A's are the worst team in MLB other than the current Cubs. WSox should not be getting blown out by this team. A bit disappointing to see but it's early.

In real time both uniforms looked like crap.

Can they stay on the west coast. Watching half these games is about all i can take.

What a shitfuck series and a shitfuck road trip. This has been really, really terrible baseball but I am willing to give the Sox somewhat of a mulligan as they have had 4 cancelled games and haven't played in temps above 45 until this Oakland series. Hopefully as they get into an every day rhythm and the weather improves, so will their play.

I have seen enough cold weather baseball this year to realize that pitchers have very little control at these temps. I mean Chatwood was god awful and walked seven, but Wainwright was all over the place as well. He walked Happ on four pitches last night to get to Bryant.
