Brown has got to find a way to have guys other than Simmons make plays for him. Especially with Embiid out. It actually has been a problem for them all season.

I'd roll the dice with Fultz. Sit McConnell and Shorten Covington up some. He killed them last night.

They have to have guys that can do it off the bounce because they are going to crowd the hell out of the shooters from here on in. With Embiid it changes some because they'd have to double him on the box. They aren't going to let Redick Bellinelli and Covington kill them so it is going to have to be Simmons Saric and some Fultz

yeah. it should be likely that embiid returns in game 3. even if he's coming off the bench...they need the depth, same with fultz. they played too wild last night, and it cost them. but wade probably doesn't repeat his performance and that should help.

I think it was just a fluke game. Wade has a history of doing that against better seeds. I’d be very surprised if Miami wins another game, regardless of Embiid’s status.

They'll win another one and maybe even the series based on experience and know-how alone. Philly isn't some beast team - they got fat off a historically terrible conference. They're talented but they don't know shit about winning in the playoffs - that's a disadvantage.

The same "historically terrible conference" That Lebron the Great has been getting fat off during the past 7 years mind you. I seem to remember you thinking that it was simply glorious while he was beating up on 49 win teams like Indiana and frauds like Toronto and Atlanta. The toughest team that he has ever had to defeat to get to an NBA finals were the Bulls with Rose 7 damn years ago yet you still laud him for his "greatness".

This Philly team with Embiid and Simmons is better than any of those teams save for arguably the Bulls. If Embiid is healthy they are going bounce Cleveland's ass right out of there this postseason.

I think they can take any of the current teams in the Conf. Its partially due to who they are and partially due to what the rest of the conf happens to be. Boston with Hayward and Irving is the best team in the Conf. Second is Philly.

We definitely will see but this isn't an ordinary year.

as long as Embiid's not on the floor, Sixers should post up Simmons more. Right now, they have 3 or 4 guys working the perimeter on offence. get the ball into Simmons in the post and have him either take his guy 1 on 1 and score or, if they double, hit the open shooter on the perimeter.
