Probably minor workplace quibbles that escalated into heavy dislike because neither person is capable of defusing a tense situation. We have those on this board all the time.

Probably. Media people tend to be over sensitive. Especially the big guys. Which is weird because the stereotype is the big guys are tough and can take stuff. Mully and Spiegel are like teenage girls. Same with Brad Biggs as he blocked Danny Parkins from twitter when he took a mild shot at him.

It was something over Mulligan's over-the-top love of European Soccer. It was real early on I think.

Mac & Spiegs were chiding him over it in the same way Mac & Terry chastises Murph for wanting to shower with the '69 cubs.

They also inferred that he was racist, I believe, for his loving "Anglicized Soccer" or something to that effect. There was a definite racial lampooning going on there. Mully probably did not appreciate the inference that he is a racist.
