Rondo is making a case for firing Hoiberg and Carlisle.

Alvin Gentry’s an okay coach I guess.

It might be but the only thing that would give cause for pause would be the fact that they were starting to put it together right before the injury. I think they were on a roll right before the injury. Boogie's injury has elevated Rondo though. Rondo is a helluva qb.

Rondo is the best value play in the league for the 2nd year in a row.

i should say in general I am a fan of Boogie but the others have certainly stepped up in his absence...

I'm a Boogie guy too but i honestly don't know if he is a stats guy or a guy that generally makes teams better. I think that he does make teams better but he hasn't demonstrated it.

This year was going to be the year to find out but he got hurt right when they started to put it together.

Funny to say but they didn't have Mirotic at the time he was injured. I wonder if they make the move but damn imagine them with those 3 Rondo and Holiday?

The Raptors were +2 last night, now +1.5 against the Wizards tonight. Am I missing something? They’ve looked fantastic this series. Just like the Warriors. I know it was emotional last night in San Antonio but I put an obscene amount of money on Warriors -4. LeBron and the Cavs are a pickem. Only line I understand tonight is Bucks -5.5. They’ll likely get a W tonight in front of the home fans tonight.

You think the Cavs should be favored? Why?

There isn't much objectively to support that assertion over the last 6-7 years though is there?

Mike Scoscia, Jon Gruden, Ozzie Guillen welcomed him into their club a few years back imo.

Still have him as a top 5 coach. He has had some shitty talent over the past 3-4 years. He did fucked over Rondo though.

Rondo is a bitch. There are a few coaches that will put up with his shit, but most won't. That's why he keeps bouncing around.

Great player. Extremely difficult to deal with as a coach.

Over Kerr, Pop, Stevens, D'Antoni, Spoelstra, Snyder and McMillan to start with? For now.

That’s because generally he’s smarter and a better coach than whatever coach he’s playing for. With carlisle it was a Carlisle ego problem. It’s why his young teammates heap praise on him wherever he goes.

I’d take him over everyone except Pop and Stevens on that list. I like the other guys but Carlisle’s place in the top 3 is still cemented imo.

Fair enough. But they've done more with (projected) less in recent years. As is Doc this year.

Less than the Mavs?? That team was atrocious this year from a talent standpoint

What would have happened had Rondo stayed healthy last year? Do they finish off the Celtics? And does it mean no Butler trade?

Snyder is closing but i need to see more. I'm not sold on Kerr as much. Luke took the team over and did just fine and so did the awful Mike Brown. D'Antoni has to do something in the Playoffs. If he pops G S. He gets the nod.

I got him (Carlisle) over Spoelstra also.

My top 5 would be

Pop
Doc
Carlisle
Stevens
Brett Brown (Sleeper pick with no accomplishments but he has brought that team along just fine)

Probably a toss up between he and Spoelstra for that last spot.

Dwayne Casey has to be in the 5 spot toss up.

That's Clippers team roster was a mess, and under heavy scrutiny. As opposed to Dallas where no one has cared in years because 2011.
