Couldn't do drugs. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Possibly both imo.

It was a different time. And people were dying.

It always seemed so nuanced. So many different levels, seemed more complicated than my booze and cigs. My dad would have killed me or taken all my stuff away. I've seen 1 person shoot heroine one time. I was at a party, I look over and was like oh my god I have to go. I couldn't get over it.

At Lab there were kids spiking up in 7th grade. And having a good time at Ramones concerts.

It almost seemed normal.

I want to throw up. I have a 7th grader.

The problem I have now...it's all changed and I'm out of the loop. I don't even know what I don't know. When I was young, I knew who did what, and generally where it came from. I can't keep track of the vape/synthetic stuff and I don't think I trust it.

So generationally, nothing has changed.

Loved it when I was a skinny kid of average height. I could always find the tightest club gear.

I was curvy and of short stature so I was out of luck. I shopped at madigans, merry go round, express, and contempo.

If I need super trendy stuff Penneys is fine most of the time. I hope they don't go away. I miss the heck out of Fields.

How old are you Spaulding

I remember going to the State Street store closing sale and seeing they had a Stamp Department, where stamp collectors could go to buy and sell. How times have changed.

It wasn't my thing. I think it was on in the morning. I watched Jem and the Holograms. Afterschool I watched HeMan, Flintstones, and Tom and Jerry. I hated the Jetsons. There isn't a rhyme or reason to it.

The Jetsons are just the Flintstones in a different era.

FYI there's no "e" in heroine cuz with "heroine" it sounds like you upheld the no snitching policy when you saw somebody shoot wonder woman.

incidentally, i can tell you that one of the most horrific things you can see is when a proper heroin addict spends a half hour trying to find a vein that isn't collapsed/like-dude-fuck-off to inject their payload. they'll start taking off shoes and stuff and it's just like...... man, when i was a kid i once ran out of the doctor's office and made it three buildings down when they tried to give me a shot. i hate needles.... so of course i've got the perspective on half hour pokeapaloozas, duh =P

The last item we purchased at Carson's was a mattress, in 2003. We replaced it less than a month ago.

We ordered the new one on-line. https://www.avocadogreenmattress.com/
