My parents had a small wood chest in the living room. One day another friend squeezed into it and we locked it with a padlock. The plan was for him to start making noise and try to get out when another friend walked into the room. The plan worked and freaked the shit out of the kid, but then I went to unlock it and realized I couldn't find the key to the lock. The friend in the chest is freaking out because he could barely fit in the thing, so he's getting claustrophobic and screaming about not being able to breath, etc. So being the genius 12 year old I am, I get my dads ax out of the shed and start hitting the chest to bust it open. Looking back, it's amazing I didn't split the kids skull open.....

We used to do that but we'd shoot at each other from out cars.

Stole car, didn't have a license, got pulled over, ran, local stoners in Mahomet, Illinois, threw something at the cops and the cops went after them instead, fell asleep in a cornfield. Stupid.

I shot myself in the thigh with an EpiPen drunk. I had one in my EMT stuff and I thought it would help me sober up. It kinda worked, but I should have went to the ER

I had an idiot friend who got drunk in high school and ate rat poison. We basically had to knock his ass out to stop him from killing himself.

When I was like 11 or 12 a couple neighborhood friends and I had this game where after sun down we would go around the corner to the intersection, and then once we saw car headlights like 100-150 feet away we would take turns running into the street and trying to do as many pushups as possible and then run back out of the street before getting run over. Did this for a few weeks before we did in front of a cop car. I still laugh remembering the look on my dad's face as the officer explain to him what I was doing.

Is 20 years old your youth? If so, accidentally almost lit Darko's house on fire.

We used to have Aqua Net night. Everyone would raid Mom's bathroom and after a good night of whiskey and weed we would torch up. Not very smart. Nobody ever got hurt though.

Climbed up the side of my 3 story high school and hit golf balls toward the police station

During a party in which I had been drinking a bit I took two of my buddies on a joyride in my 1987 Delta 88. Was driving
80mph fishtailing on a narrow dirt road. Ended up crashing the car doing the same thing a few weeks later on a different road
just missing some trees but trashing the car ( I was sober) .

Back around 2001 I took a limo up to Milwaukee to party with some friends. One of my buddies brought a friend of his that we couldn't stand.
He was wearing white contact lenses and hitting on all kinds of women that wanted nothing to do with him. On the way home my friend and I
were threatening to kick his ass when we got dropped at home. He called some of his friends who showed up and threatened to shoot me and
my friends parents called the cops.

We did bottle rocket wars. Have a scar between my shoulder blades where my brother got me with a whistler. Didn’t explode on me but the tips on those got hot. There was an old grainery near us as our part of the burbs was just developing when I was growing up and we would play games in there. I think crawling around on the beams in 40 feet up in pitch blackness was probably a bad idea. Did car surfing.. that was unwise. Was an old abandoned quarry that had flooded too. We should sneak in there and rock climb one of the walls over water in summer. I’d do that again, that was fun.

Brother and friend used to play chicken with compound bows. How they are both doctors now and not dead and also the “responsible” ones of our families is beyond me. Brother trued game with me once and I dropped like a rock after he’d shot. I’m not sure if the arrow would have hurt more thsn the beating he put on me for scaring the crap out of him.

Moved around a lot as a kid and almost always lived in new neighborhoods. My brother and I would ride bikes and mill around new
construction sites when the workers went home. We'd bust up Styrofoam insulation and stuff that was hung up. Looking back on it
that was a real asshole thing to do. Got chased off a site a time or two by some workers.

Yeah.. we moved flags and unmarked trees when they started developing an area we hung out in. It was a bit of s jerk move.

My wife’s dad developed a property they lived on and her and her friends did the same. I don’t imagine the conversations would have gone well if it had gotten back to him.

I jumped off the roof of a tree house onto a two by four with nails sticking out of it. Went through my shoe and through my foot. Me and Jesus.

You know I was about 11-12 at the time and can remember it crystal clear. You know those horror movies where the monster is on fire and you can tell the actor has all kinds of fireproofing and he's real stiff and awkward moving. Well it was kind of like that only the kid was only wearing a coat. he was flailing his arm around and finally I was like "STOP DROP AND ROLL MAN!!"

we took that one step further and would drive around with bottle rockets and a sawed in half wiffle bat and shoot bottle rockets at basically anything and anyone within range as we drove by.
