Traded Saladino to the Brewers and acquired Trayce Thompson from the A's.

Trayce is a flameout. Weird, dumb move.

I was really pissed they dealt Trayce for Frazier. I like him, I think he can still carve out a big league career and I'm glad the Sox are giving him another shot.

Saladino sucked. I like the move.

Trayce is really bouncing around. He was with the Yankees during spring training.

Then again, I'm not sure what Saladino is going to do with the Brewers, since Hernan Perez can play six positions poorly while Saladino can only play three poorly.

Also, the Courtney Hawkins era has ended in Birmingham. He's going to go run a gas station with Earl Cunningham.

He looked like he might be a good ballplayer....not so much now.

How will they replace Saladino's mustache?? Good move getting Thompson back. Has a chance to be decent.

Saw him at Hardees once when he played here. I think he was driving Matt Williams old Benz.

Earl had been in Peoria long enough to run for the city council.

Saladino plays seven, including catcher and pitcher.

I like Tyler from his one good year here but there was no need for his skills with Leury being better at everything and Sanchez also being able to cover three infield spots.

I imagine Trayce gets a shot at CF immediately. He couldn't be worse than Engal.

The roster is a mess and they obviously needed another OF. When Avi needs a rest you can't play Leury in RF. He's barely playable in LF. He should be the next to go but unfortunately that's not gonna happen.

Need another OF? If they do, it's because your boy Engel absolutely sucks.

As it stands right now, the Sox have no backup infielder unless they play Davidson at 3rd regularly which turns the entire left side of the infield into a sieve.

Leury Garcia's outfield play is your concern with this team? Tim Anderson is the shortstop. I guess even Hahn could not take too many more Engle at bats or Saladino as the DH.

Leury is the guy that Keyser loves to hate with this team. In previous years, it was Alexei and DeAza. Anderson and Engel can do no wrong in his eyes.

Leury is the backup IF. He plays three of the positions competently enough for a backup.

Thompson is a very good outfielder but has a problem squaring up to the baseball. They'll probably move him to their outfield soon and give him a last shot at making it. Considering how bad their outfield is, its really not a big deal.

Probably still a better hitter than Engel....

you look at their minor league careers and its not entirely obvious who is a better hitter. Seems like Engel has totally choked at the MLB level though.

Sox took a shit, then picked up another piece of shit that was left in the toilet from before, and re-inserted it back up their ass.

Almost would have to be. When I saw Engel for the first time, I thought that no way would this guy ever hit the baseball in the major leagues. I actually feel sorry for the guy. He, to me, is a guy who has had SO MUCH FUCKING ADVICE on what to do hitting wise that he is completely lost. Period. What we have know is a total wreck of a former prospect. Just cut the kid and ease his pain. He is DONE. He looks like a robot up there hitting.
