Yes he did. I was hoping he might perform like he did for the Tigers last season, before coming over in the trade for Candelario, who hit his 3rd homer of the season and looks like he's going to be a solid player for the Tigers. I know, there was no spot for him with the Cubs, but I hate to see a valuable asset given away for a guy who doesn't even deserve a roster spot at this point.

16 runs is a pretty good 3 game series for this team. I hope they keep the offense rolling and don't look lackluster tomorrow. Rizzo was about the only guy that didn't really swing the bat well tonight and he still had 2 RBI's by putting the ball in play and making productive outs (besides the double play he hit into).

About time Joe gave Almora some at bats, kid should lead off all season and start in CF. I don't want to jynx him but Jhey looking pretty decent and starting to square the ball up and drive it.

Almora should have been the every day CF since Fowler signed in St Louis. For whatever reason, he just isn't one of "Joes guys". Joe loves guys with versatility. Haap can switch hit, and play 2B as well as the outfield, so he is one of his guys. Almora hits for a better average, plays a far superior CF, and puts the ball in play more often, rather than striking out regularly as Haap does. Haap should be a utility guy......period. Stick with this lineup Joe.....please!
