Where did Sharp go? Is he out getting a personality.

Sharp’s Legacy With the Blackhawks
As the 2017-18 season wrapped up for the Chicago Blackhawks on April 7, 2018, the NHL career of Patrick Sharp did as well. With three Stanley Cups as well as an Olympic gold medal to his name, he’s retiring from a career most NHL players can’t imagine in their wildest dreams. As one of the dynasty’s most well-known and beloved players, he is sure to be missed.
In his eleven seasons with the Hawks, he tallied a total of 249 goals and 283 assists, but his legacy goes far beyond his numbers.

The Early Years

Sharp joined the Blackhawks in the middle of the 2005-06 season when they were a completely different team and organization. The thought of making the playoffs after their best season was laughable and players were assigned areas of the city to hand out free tickets. To fans today, it sounds absurd that the Blackhawks would have trouble selling tickets to the United Center, but that’s where things were.
When asked of those days, Sharp told Blackhawks team historian Bob Verdi, “There weren’t a lot of people in the United Center back then, but looking back, I became part of a perfect storm. Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook were there. Then came Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. The outdoor game at Wrigley Field. We were a young group getting better with a great new organization under John McDonough and Rocky [Wirtz]. Then the sellout crowds every night, so many games in a cool atmosphere, then three Cups.”
Everything changed in the 2007-08 season when Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews started as rookies. Sharp, then 25, took on a leadership role of the two teenagers. His mentorship of Kane and Toews helped shape them into the top players they are today. Both players cite him as a great influence and mentor in their early days.

Avalanche: 1 for 16 on the PP this series.

Preds are a pedestrian 3 /13 on the power play but they've tallied a PP goal each game thus far.

make that 2/17 or 18 now, 5 on 3 PP goal for the Avs makes it 3-1 preds.

Ducks thought they had an equalizer PP goal; which would've made them 3 for 11 on PP chances in this series. Reversed for off-sides, back down to 2/11 and 0-1 deficit to the Sharks.

Sharks on the PP now, where they are a torrid 7/22 for the series so far.

Kerfoot unassisted for the Avs, 3-2 Preds now. Ducks back on the PP against the Sharks. Two 1 goal games in the 3rd period, one of these gonna go OT. Haven't been many OT games in these playoffs.

Rinne had a 3-0 lead going into the 3rd period. Avs have cut that to 3-2. Rinne feeling the playoff pressure, yoooge next 5 minutes of play for dude.

Stalock in goal for the Wild now. Dubnyk did all he could to keep the series close.

Yeah, that's the end of that. Goals from everyone who hadn't gotten one yet, too.

My heart grew three sizes today watching the Winnipeg faithful cheer on a series win. First since 1987. Hellebuyck with back-to-back shutouts.

It should be 1-0 Avs. The preds got a no goal call overturned and called a good goal. The guy clearly kicked the damn thing in and they actually reviewed it and somehow said there was conclusive evidence that it was not kicked in. Total BS call.

2 more 3rd period goals on Rinne's watch; 7 this series Rinne's given up in 3rd periods.

Lots of sexist tweets about Sharp; respect his thoughts and stop looking at him like a piece of meat!

You'll forgive me if I'm not exactly standing in awe of the Nashville Predators right now. The in-and-out-of-the-NHL Hamburglar just threw up a 44/45 night on what's supposed to be this amazing offense. They'll probably handle their shit in Denver but Rinne isn't gonna win you 16 games.

Give me the Jets or the Sharks and I'll be happy.
