I’ve been telling you for awhile the Jazz are the better team.

You are a bandwagon guy that rides whatever the hot hand happens to be.

If they lose (still likely) you will simply change your tune and act as though you never said it. Anyone can do that. I don't remember you pushing Utah at any point this season.

Wrong again. They’ve been great in the second half of the season mainly due to Mitchell and Gobert coming back, two guys I’ve pumped up and you’ve dismissed repeatedly.

Still likely though, huh? $50 on it?

Nah i'm done with bets for now. I am content to let it play out.

Its easy to say that when they are up 2-1.

While you are pumping Mitchell the Jazz's best player in the series has been Rubio.

Not sure about this series. Definitely tonight.

Regardless, Mitchell and Rubio have both been great. It’s a reason I picked them over OKC.

They cut the lead to 7 and as soon as Westbrook checked in it ballooned up to 20.

No. The game turned when Mitchell took over late in the second half.

Makes sense. Rose played well off the bench and Westbrook was beat in every way by Rubio and Mitchell

Still doesn't make him the best player. He shot 10 for 25.

Rubio is checking Westbrook too.

22 9 and 5 or 7 boards last game. Mitchell had a great 4th quarter. Rubio has been solid and has to outplay one of top 5 players in the league and he is doing it.

OKC definitely has the better talent but Utah has the better team. Westbrook needs to realize he has a star in George playing with him and defer a bit; if George has it going, focus more on playmaking and defense then on scoring.

I don't think he is capable of doing that. I like his competitiveness but he doesn't consistently make winning plays.

Too much feast or famine to his game for me and there is rarely a plan B on those days when he doesn't have it going.

He killed them tonight.

I meant they had the 2 best players coming into the series (Westbrook & George, Anthony in top 5). Utah has more depth and chemistry.
Rubio has upped his game this series and Mitchell continues his regular season level.

I liked these. It represented that they stopped trying to be a jazz-themed team from New Orleans and started trying to be a Salt Lake City-themed team for dopey lame-o Mormons. Most NBA uniforms that tried to dramatically update plain uniforms were atrocities (Pistons, Wizards, Warriors, 76ers, Cavaliers) but I dig the old mountain Jazz. I don't get the southwest uniforms for them. Salt Lake City is too wintry for that to make any sense.

If guys like Butler and Green are top 10 and top 15 then Westbrook is top 5. He is better than both of them.

Its also funny how you now choose to use the playoffs as some sort of barometer too. In the past when Westbrook and Irving have outplayed your guy Curry during the playoffs somehow they mattered little.

Steph has gotten his revenge on both in the playoffs. Nice try though.

All no doubters ahead of Westbrook. No argument to be made he’s a top 5 guy.

I wouldn't put Curry in there. Westbrook consistently outplays him Head to head.

And there is no argument about Butler at 10 or Green at 15 then either

Wrong again.

Also, we can keep going. Giannis is easily better than him too.

It’s funny that you constantly bash him when Thunder games are on but then on off days you go back to saying how great he is.

Westbrook doesn’t play winning basketball. This has been a theme for him for years now. He’s all about his own numbers and that’s it.

Revenge? They both destroyed him and he only slightly outplayed Irving during last season's finals. Still refused to check him with his scary ass.

All of this is beside the point. You can't say that Westbrook isn't top 5 on one hand because of playoff performance then say it (playoff performance) doesnt matter.

But they’re not called the Salt Lake City Jazz. They’re the Utah Jazz. There’s much more to Utah than Salt Lake City. A lot of diversity geographically. Those jerseys last night looked like they’re trying to represent their southern desert. Colors looked like Bryce Canyon.

You can say the same thing about James Harden and you actually have at some point. I believe you'd rather have Butler over him as far back as 2 seasons ago.

Yeah I don’t really like Harden that much and would probably put Giannis over him for top 5 but I realize most people would disagree.

You'd have thought that someone would have changed the team name to something more representative of that miserable state though.

I've always heard it's one of the friendliest places. People that visit there seem to like it.
