Who said they didn't? MANY also get senior exemptions on their taxes that you don't get. You don't have kids or grandkids but you still fund the schools too.

Why should an 80 year old be able to decide the future of this country?

So you're just guessing on how they vote but are willing to take away their right to vote because you are certain they are voting against the interests of America's youth? That makes a lot of sense.

Sounds to me like you are just looking to disenfranchise a group of people because you don't agree with their politics (even though you're not even sure what their politics are).

Let 16 year olds vote. If being informed were a prerequisite for voting then MANY would inherently be disqualified.

Sad! I don't care how they vote. They could all vote for me and it still wouldn't change my belief that an 80 year old shouldn't be able to decide the future. Why do you believe that 80 year old folks should be able to decide what's best for your daughter and pile up more debt that she'll have to pay for?

You talked multiple times about 80 year olds not paying federal income taxes in the same thread where you are trying to make the argument that 80 year olds shouldn't be allowed to vote. But now that someone (me) has showed you the path your logic will be taken should you continue, I'm sure you will continue to pretend it is merely a coincidence.

I would guess that most people involved in local political organizations, and thus doing a whole ton of future-deciding behind the ballot box, are well past their forties. Do we purge the McHenry County Republican Party of greyhairs and turn it over to pockmarked anime Nazis? They're the ones who have to live with their decisions!
