Unless the economy goes to shit, he is going to win.

I have. I realized that there a number of people who really like what this clown is selling.

The "anyone but Hillary" angle is really just a diversion.

People want this fool to be President.

Depending what corpse the Dems roll out, I could see myself voting for him. I never imagined I'd say that, but he hasn't nuked anyone yet so I'm convinced. His policies have been decent.

Meh. I don't think he gives a rat's ass about reelection. If he was going to do anything stupid, I don't think he'd be more likely to do it in a second term.

ISIS appears on the run.
We finally got that oreitnal(can I say that?) in North Korea under control.
We've attacked that Rag Head(can I say that?) in Syria TWICE and the beta Russians have done nothing.

Obviously, I could do without the constant soap opera that he brings, but how does that directly effect US as citizens?

Short of military actions, the president doesn’t really impact our daily lives that significantly. After eight years of Obama, the biggest impact to me was the ACA—I pay way more in medical costs as a percentage of my income than I did before that law. The biggest impact of Trump will likely be the tax overhaul—we’ll have wait to see how that plays out.

The tax cuts are a long term disaster, and the ACA is hardly the only reason why your healthcare costs have gone up.

I wasn’t discussing the merits of either law, simply pointing out the actual impact that each president has had on our daily lives. There are multiple threads dedicated to both laws debating the pros/cons.

I keep thinking about the "let me be President" quote, and I get the feeling this is one of those times when a sociopath pr extreme narcissist can be saying something that everyone interprets to be benign, but is really said with a sinister motivation by the speaker.

Liberals will take it to mean that she is disheartened that They won't bestow on Hillary the supreme honor of serving the country as President. But Hillary actually meant that the office is rightfully hers, but They conspire to keep her from it.

Hell, MANY Democrats might recognize that meaning, and be ok with it anyway.

That forces are conspiring to hold her back is the only way I can read it. But again, forces conspired to support her and furnish her with the dumbest possible Republican opponent. Resolve to meaningfully improve people's material conditions and you probably win.

About the only thing that Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump have in common is that they were both able to restrain themselves from making fun of poor people at cocktail parties in Beverly Hills and on Martha's Vineyard.

At least Bernie only has 3 houses.

Every Sunday, I keep hearing the all-star panel on Reliable Sources (CNN) tell me that the President is thinking about arresting reporters, and running a dictatorship. Sort of reminds me of Dan Bernstein telling his children that he didn't know if Jewish people would be taken away by the government and all of the rampant ridiculous comments made my liberals who can't get over the fact that this guy beat Hillary.

I think most Republicans are happy with the policies he has implemented, most can do without his rants on Twitter. The media (outside of Fox News and talk radio) spend most of their coverage on trying to link him to crimes committed regarding Russia, but evidence remains to be seen. If the economy holds up, he'll be formidable in 2 year when we're back in his re-election campaign. He'll be right in his element with his attacks on his future opponent.

Interesting times in which we live, but the country hasn't gone to hell yet despite the lunatic predictions of the left, and the daily thoughts of our current President.

So many people miss the take home. Which is that Hillary and all your beloved Democrats of and for the people are nothing different than the opposition you despise.

Brian Stelter has the most punchable face on TV. Nothing is as laughable or pathetic as a show on CNN being titled "Reliable Sources."

Even worse are the legion of people that have spent the better part of a year and a half essentially apologizing for having voted for Trump.

There is no bigger handjob voter than the guy that only voted for Trump because he ran against Hillary.

Watch Bill Maher from this past Friday when he had Jordan Peterson on. Listen to Overtime, in particular, and then tell my why Donald Trump isn't becoming more palatable by the day.

I'm not sure why I watch that show. It could be that Stelter would claim he doesn't make references suggesting that the President has dictator-type tendencies, seems to truly believe that the media is honest, uses at least one segment in every show to question Fox News while never questioning anything that goes on his own network, etc. The show seems rather self-important when it's nothing more than a vehicle to attack the President with pretty much every pundit doing so. Stelter does make those odd facial expressions which is interesting to watch when he's talking to a guest.

Besides the recent tax cuts, can I get a list of the president's policies that MANY are excited about? How they've impacted your life would help too.

I promise not to criticize the policies that any of you list. I really just want to get a better understanding of what you guys or gals like.
