Renteria has not been given much to work with, but he still seems like a terrible manager. Can we stop with the Rickie's boys don't quit after losing this series by 25 runs? It certainly looked like they quit.

The team makes so many baserunning mistakes, and why is he asking Moncada to bunt if the season is about "development". This is without mentioning the defensive gaffes, which a well coached team should not make.

The obsession with bunting and the running game seems deeply organizational rather than simply a style backed by Renteria. I think it dates back to the "Go Go Sox" or maybe even as far as the "Hitless Wonders". When the Sox had truly great offensive teams in the early 2000s I know many Sox fans who actually complained that they "hit too many home runs."

I commented to some of my friends yesterday, that this is deja vu for Rickie in Chicago. He is going to get canned a year before this team gets good, and this time it will be deserved.

Another person that assumes they will get good. It may not happen. Many of these "prospects" may not pan out. If they don't, it will just be further ineptitude, which has been the theme for Rick Hahn since he took over as GM.

Well on their way to the 105 losses, already 10 games under .500 at 4-14. At this rate, they should win around 37 games on the season.

Steve, I will bet you a steak dinner that the White Sox win at least 37 games this year. You are doing an awful lot of gloating about the Sox poor record, and since you accuse others of being a pussy when they wouldn't man up and accept your bets, here is one that you should be able to accept. 37 or lower, steak dinner for you. 38 or more, steak dinner for me.

YES OR NO ??

Even if you win this bet, you'd lose by having to have dinner with Steve. Pass.

He isn't man enough to accept the bet, even though he has offered bets like this to MANY on the board over the years.

Steve, why you have to go and kick White Sox fans when they are down?

I understood why they used to do it during our re-build, but we are better then that and our team is far superior in every way.

I tried to warn them about the failures of your GM not being able to recognize young positional talent and they laughed and compared Moncada to Bryant

Let them continue to believe in a failing rebuild, while we go to another NLDS.

DO BETTER!

I kick them while they are down, because I can. I grew up loving the Cubs and hating the White Sux. Nothing has changed and these are high times for me and I am enjoying every bit of it, with no end in sight this season at least. You

Okay, I'll bet you a thousand dollars the Chicago White Sox (Sux) have a losing season again in 2018.

They're tied for 4th in the reverse standings and one of the teams ahead of them is not the Marlins. My god there are some atrocious baseball teams.
