I liked the first season but it was ruined for me by those damn IMDB forums. I use to post there and these snobby son of a bitches pretty much revealed the ending months before it happened. They took the forums down there I think for that reason. But this year I'm not going to let myself ruin it. I hope it's good.

This season looks to have the hosts finding more about the parks and Delos.

Bernard appears to be with the Delos people but that is probably misdirection.

I'm also rewatching season 1, halfway though now. Great to watch again with full knowledge, you pick up o a lot. That said, I'm still confused on timeline on a bunch of scenes even with knowing how it all ends.

Last time we saw head of security guy he was getting his ass kicked by the ghost nation native androids. Yet this episode he appears to be completely fine and back working. Did they ever say what happened to him last season?

You'd think something that would need to be monitored and checked would be a bit more accessible? Though, I suppose they do cover this by having the guy say it's normally done under lab conditions, or and that other scene where the drone hosts but a special helmet on a host and extract it rather easily. I knew about the guests, but wanted to confirm Dolores was also killing hosts. So she's basically just killing everyone she sees. Why? I know Ford told her to, but I don't understand the purpose.

Are they trying to paint Mulva (and to an extent, all the other hosts) as a revenge-driven protagonist as she runs about indiscriminately murdering humans who may or may not have been to the park as guests, likely didn't know the hosts were on the verge of sentience, and may not have ever interacted badly with her or any other host at all (the diminutive writer guy says there are "family friendly" areas of the park)? Because that sounds like a bloodthirsty antagonist to me.

Like in the season 1 finale, it was great watching her kick the shit out of the Man In Black when she first popped her head into the center of The Maze. We were seeing retribution against a specific tormenter of hers. I didnt get that same feeling watching her have three nondescript humans hanged for completely unmentioned Crimes Against Hosts.

Everyone in the park at the celebration were part of Delos I think. So they're at least tangentially responsible.

And i don't think Dolores will be painted as a heroic character going forward.

Both but mainly season 1. He repeatedly called it frustrating. I thought it was awesome and almost every episode was great.

Yeah In agree. There were a few critics that don't seem to like Westworld.

Just watched this morning. Off to a strong start. Love the introduction of new worlds of course. Preview for the rest of the season appeared
to look like Deloris gets out into the "real" world but it certainly could just be another world within the park. The show continues to keep
the viewer guessing and the writing has been pretty solid to keep things in place. The timeline jumping around can be a bit confusing.
