I had some shit like this happen to me about 5 years ago. I was leaving Red's (one of Reader's old hangouts) lol when i noticed that this chick that i know was too drunk to standup basically. There was no one left that could take her home so i decided to do it. I drove her car and told one of my guys who was waiting for me to drop him off to trail in my car. While he is trailing us the police pull him over for god knows what.

It turns out his damn license is revoked and they are booking him for DUI in this particular instance.

Dirty ass cops end up parking my car next to fire hydrant where it got ticketed and towed but they also were able to levy all types of fines because of some shit (one of them being driving drunk near a park or school) I go to the impound place and the motherfuckers tell me its going to be $4,000 to get the car out. I'm like what the fuck i wasn't even the person driving.

At first i was going to pay the shit and keep it pushing. At the last minute i decided to simply contest it. Trotted my happy ass down on Superior where i saw one of those shark ass lawyers that i knew from hanging around court houses. He was going to take the case for a small fee of course. I told him nah fuck it it ain't shit you can do.

While i'm sitting there waiting to meet with the judge i started talking with one of those jailhouse lawyer types. He asked to see the impound paperwork. He noticed that the Sgt. From 71st and Cottage failed to sign off on the impound. I think he did that on purpose because he knew it was some bullshit. He was like nah they are going to throw this shit out.

Sure enough once i got in front of the judge i mentioned that and the judge ended up throwing the shit out.

My guy didn't fare too well though. Because of all the bullshit on his books he had to sit in the county for a minute and fight the bullshit case. He is out now but the whole ordeal was some bullshit.

Those guys drove up from Racine, WI and had been waiting outside since 8am. The factories that they and their father's worked in jad closed and finding work to support a family had become a challenge. They genuinely believed that the president would bring those jobs back. I got a couple of Trump posters from them too.

I think I may have mentioned this to you before, but about 20+ years ago I had a guy who got pinched laying up in one of your old spots. The cops got him for his work and peeled off about a stack for themselves and on the report claimed about another $4K. The forms were all f-ed up, the cops didn't show for the hearing where everyone but us were smirking. In and out in 20 minutes. I forget just how long it took for my guy to actually get his $$ back from the city. Funny thing is that my guy was cool with getting broken off/cost of business, but didn't know why they bothered to put his cash in the system.

Neither did I.
