Time to start worrying about his injury? No concussion, but is out again today.

I'm getting a bit twitchy about it.

The bigger question is, why are the Cubs continuing to play a man short? Put Bryant on the DL, and when he is ready to play he plays. Continuing to keep him out while not putting him on the DL is a detriment to the team.

First, you aren't the Cubs GM (thank God)

Second, how would you have gotten that accomplished? There are 40 man roster concerns. Player option concerns. Bryant may be ready to go tomorrow for all we know. It's a fluid situation. Without knowing exactly HOW long Bryant will be out, a DL stint really isn't an option for the Cubs once things shook out the way they did.

This is real world, not some fucked and stupid Frank fantasyland.

Franky is obsessed with posting Cub comments.

A 7-Day concussion protocol can be backdated 5 days. So if he isn't ready to go tomorrow, they will probably put him on there for a couple of days.

I'm a bit concerned since it sounds mental.

It's a business. He's doing what is best for him. The Cubs organization only cares about his best interest in terms of their own best interest.

Yep he'd probably be playing if Theo hadn't sent him down at the beginning of the season few years ago.

The remaining infielders in Iowa aren't on the 40 man..so if they were to make a call up, it would either be a pen arm, or an outfielder, which they really don't need at this point. The roster spot isn't a big deal. I would think MEGA Cub fan Frank would put in his research before posting.

I heard he thought there were only 4 brat rolls left in his pantry when there were actually 3.

This is how Jason Heyward's slide at the plate started isn't it?

I hope he isn't scared of the ball now. When Sosa had his helmet shattered he wasn't the same after. I remember him jumping out of the way of curveballs that ended up being strikes.

Not worried at all. Only 2 games back in the division. Should at least take 2 of 3 from the Brewers. If he can't go Sunday, I'd start to have questions. More worried about Darvish. It's not cold today. So no excuses from our $126 million pitcher.

I heard he wanted to be the number 4 hitter instead of the number 3.

Zobrist is eligible to return tomorrow though. So Farrell would remain in the pen if you DL Bryant and active Zobrist.

Sammy was at the end of his career when that happened. It's a scary thing. Like driving a car after a car accident or riding a bike after hitting your head. Kris just needs at-bats to get acclimated again.

Stanton took awhile to get back to normal after he was hit in the head.

Rizzo's back problems + Bryant's and Darvish's mental problems. This season is ovah!
