Isn't Harden just Westbrook with a more consistent 3 point/jump-shot? If surrounding Harden with 3 point shooters--or surrounding Ben Simmons with same--proves a path to the Finals or even a championship, that's the formula for Westbrook to return to the Finals (post-Golden State era).

Sixers were a .500 team before the February trades for Ilyasova and Belinelli gave Simmons reliable outside shooters to pass to. Since then, they've barely lost.

Ilyasova and Belinelli gave them reliable bench players more than anything. Their bench was garbage as hell and lacked punch. When Simmons and Embiid were off the floor at the same time they had trouble scoring. It wasn't about 3 point shooting as much as it was about acquiring 2 guys that could provide consistent scoring off the bench.
