Ok, so the jury is still out on Quintana. Cool.

In 2016 he went 7-2 over 13 starts on a bad White Sox team. So what? All pitchers have good games and good stretches. If they didn't, they wouldn't be in the big leagues too long. You seem to be correlating his current 10-4 record on the Cubs with the "far superior" Cub offense. That's simply wrong.

This is wrong. I was with you and all your friends at your clubhouse in 2014 and 2015, and you had already formulated your opinion on Quintana. We had discussions at length on him. Those discussions took place within his third and fourth seasons. We won't need 190 starts as a Cub. About 75 starts should do.

I don't think it was that long ago, but regardless, his record has remained pretty much the same since whenever it was.

You can keep repeating that he's 10-4 with the Cubs as if he's suddenly a .700 pitcher on your "great team", but I'm quite confident such is not the case.
