Yea im out. I never paid for it, i always found some deal... its nice, but not worth more than $79. And not $99. And definitely not $119. I can wait an extra day or two for a package, and your streaming selections are shit.

The free shipping is worth it. Add in the movies and tv shows and it is definitely worth it.

It's a non-issue for me. I probably get a package a week if not more at times and the free shipping pays for itself. I have a sorting
facility less than 5 miles from me and most of my packages come the very next day. When I signed up I didn't think I would use it
that much but since getting married I have found myself only going to Menards or Lowes when I really need something and of course
the grocery store. No need to shop for much else. It's kinda nice.

The "Bosch" TV series is better than anything except "Narcos". I love "Bosch".
But every year I get offered a 6 month free trial of Prime. Last year they gave me Student Prime for 6 months. I ain't no student. Anybody can get the Student Prime.
New "Bosch" Season 4 is out but no offer yet. Patience.

At $119 I am out, unless they come up with a really good offer with Whole Foods. I love Amazon Locker, but I just don't buy enough and I don't use their digital offerings.

In doing the calculations I believe that I’m still good with that price just so my kids can watch ALF.

Or the fact that the UPS guy seems to be here weekly at a minimum.

It's unfortunate but still worth it for me probably.

It is what it is...I actually just renewed at $99 last week or the week before. Another 20 bucks in a year isn't going to kill me.

It's only $20. If you're someone who's ordering something at least 2-3 times a month, it's worth it. Especially after I dealt with a "local delivery company" who left a package at the front door of a building on a major street.

It's less than $2.50 a week. In my opinion if you get 2-3 shipments a month then it seems worth it just to cover the shipping right to your door.

Still worth it for free shipping (diapers, keurig cups, etc. would be expensive to ship quickly) and for the video services

I'm pissed at myself for not buying at least 1 share of their stock last year. It was $966 just a few months back. Now it's over $1600.

Mine just renewed at $99. Between how much shit the wife orders and Amazon streaming I'd say it's a bargain. 100% of Christmas shopping was amazon and anything not groceries seems to come from there.

shipping is free over $35 without prime. how often do you buy under $35 and need it next day? its not very often .

I actually order quite a few things under $35. Prime saves a lot of trips to the store. Just last week I ordered everything needed for my mower's maintenance for the year. It was under $20 and it kept me from having to take a trip to Home Depot.

Well, Home Depot does match Menard's 11 percent though.

Yeah, but then you have to go to one of them, both of which are fairly miserable experiences.

They have self-checkout which gets you out of the store without too much hassle. The one thing to watch for is restocking fees on certain items.

Half the time I can't find what I'm actually looking for...thus the need to deal with the employees...in my experience, I'd rather deal with the cashiers than the people on the sales floor...

Not to mention you have to hear that damn Menards jingle every minute you’re in the store.

My father in law loves Menards. I can't stand the place. Can never find what I'm actually looking for there. At least in Gurnee, the salespeople at the Home Depot there have a clue about the store layout, and are generally not complete morons.

Pretty sure it’s purposeful at Menards. Only go if I have to as it’s 15 minutes closer than a Lowes or Home Depot.

I think it's the corporate call to prayer.

I'm wondering how many people have both Prime and a discount club membership. I know some people who have one but not the other. Personally I've gotten enough use out of both to justify both Prime and Sam's Club.

I have a Costco membership and split Prime with my parents (you can have 2 adults under the same membership in an Amazon "household")

My Costco membership pays for itself if all I did was purchase gasoline.

There are a few items I buy continuously (almonds, dried cherries, hard liquor, bully sticks) that also justify the membership fee.

Then you add the cheap lunch counter with $1.50 hot dog/pop or $2 slice....

Menards sells cheese balls in a canister that taste just like planters. They are the best.
