I read this at five am and all I could come up with what this: Many Internet writers unconsciously use Internet wokeness (which involves using the lingo and paying homage to woke gods and goddesses and godkin) to mask their inability to analyze. Or maybe they just confuse this type of writing with cleverness or actual sustained thought. The fact that I'm a total loser doesn't make this not true.

I think it’s safe to assume that, absent evidence to the contrary, white US-born baseball players are Breitbart/Infowars level right wingers.

I mean, think about it. MLB disproportionately draws its talent from deep red states, and they tend to come from wealthy families that can afford travel teams and personal coaches. They spend a lot of time on the road and get their news from their peers or social media. And minorities in clubhouses usually speak Spanish so there’s limited interaction. This all adds up to assholes who retweet memes from USApatriots.info and police officers are an oppressed group.

He’s from CA. There’s like a lot of really good baseball players from CA. You know sunshine and a huge population with disposable income makes it kind of a hot bed for talent.
