what about "gotham"? i've heard nothing but raves for that show.

i don't know that you need to see any of the movies if you're going to go into them with a biased opinion that you're not into the genre. but if there is one movie that could change your mind, i'd go with the GOTG films. "winter soldier" is great but i think seeing the 1st captain america movie might be required.


Gotham is a great show,only bad thing is Jada Pinkett Smith. Otherwise near perfect show.

The Marvel ones aren't really formulaic besides having a villain which is kind of needed.

Watching season 5 of Gotham. Freaking awesome. If you like the Dc batmanverse it is a must watch. They are slowly building to the birth of the dark night and the the Joker. Cast is superb . I love the Riddler.

Season 5 hasn't started yet, set to premiere in 2019. It's the final season and they cut it to 13 episodes. By the end there will be a big time jump and Batman will be introduced.

Action movies are easy to market world wide which helps their appeal. Harder to market a Oscar winner because it depends more on the acting, and once you dub it in Tagalog or whatever, you lose some of the essence of the movie. Yet the industry saving action movies don't win Oscars so that's why they created that new BS category for them.

Finished last season of Gotham. Wow,Just great makes you forget Justice League except Gal Gadot.

Casting is superb if the restart Batman they need to use the Penguin and Riddler from here the guys are great. Plus,The catwoman is a nice take and easy on the eyes. The last two seasons was a buildup to the last episode that was a ten year jump. Perfect it set up a full on Batman Movie or series.

Agreed, these movies suck. The only one that was decent was Deadpool 1.
