isn't someone somewhere gonna get offended that they gotta still use the word "girl" in "girl scouts" ?? i reckon it'd come down to something like marketing/branding where it's like they wouldn't wanna ditch the "girl" in "girl scouts" simply because of "girl scout cookies" being a thing. still, i can see a JDC combo upsized with fries still getting upset that they have to denote gender in an increasingly gender fluid society/world/twitterverse.

A bit of half-assed reading is that, despite the name, the Girl Scouts are not the corollary to the Boy Scouts ... it's the Campfire Girls.

side note: I was at a show at Lincoln Hall on Tuesday night. I've been there plenty of times before, but the last time was at least 6 months or more ago. I get there and head to the bathroom- and the men's and women's are covered up with paper signs saying "gender neutral bathroom". Now, having been there many times before i knew which one was the "mens" and went there. I'm not sure if this is a new thing there (I suspect it may have been at the band's request, thus the paper signs) but after the show lots of people were confused, and one guy shrugged his shoulders and walked into what was the womens.

Michael: Someone complained that the men's room is "whites only." C'mon, Stanley, you know that's not true.

my fear with the growing trend of gender neutral public restrooms is supposedly women are disgusting animals and their public restrooms are FAR dirtier than men's restrooms.
