Each 'side' on the bored is misrepresenting things here a bit, and the rest is conjecture.

They sat two folks that happened to be black.
They gave normal service to the blacks.
The manager asked if they'd give up their table for 'a regular', who happened to be white.
The blacks declined to acquiesce.
The manager said okay, fine, then 23-skidoo.
The blacks declined to acquiesce and asked why they're being asked to leave.
This same back and forth goes on for a bit until eventually the manager said the reason he wanted them to leave is because he didn't like them ... now look, if someone wasn't doing something I asked them to do - irrespective of my doing something right or wrong - I probably wouldn't like them in that moment either. Come to think of it, I don't like anyone. Regardless.
The manager says 'get out, Rubble'.
The blacks decline to acquiesce.
The manager says you're now trespassing and I'm calling the po-po.
Soon thereafter, the blacks acquiesce to the 'scram' request.

Decent enough cases can be amateurishly litigated as to whether or not the manager was/is a racist.

The only case where this might be somewhat defend-able is when you have a party of 2 sitting in a vary large booth that can occupy 6 people(or 3 + 1 JimmyPasta). Restaurants don't ask people to move, hell even in GoodFellas they just got another table for Henry and Karen, vs booting someone.

So now a black couple cannot be asked to move to a different table without it being due to their race?

Also let's not forget that the "extended service" being revoked was a huge portion of your "but racism!" claims, only to find out that service wasn't going to be revoked from the onset of the encounter with the manager.

If they ordered prior to being seated, then no service was actually given outside of being seated.
