You might be right. We all know he is terrible at evaluating pitchers, so the Q trade looks HORRIBLE both with Q and Cease. But at the end of the day, he brought a WS to the Cubs.

I said it was a stupid move when they made the deal and trading Eloy was another. I said they should keep Russell at SS till the end of 2016 and then trade HIM and install Torres at SS, as he will be the better player. I hated that trade and knew this would happen. A fuvking 3 month rental....STUPID!

I want sustained excellence, not just one title.
