You can't limit it to NRA rallies for Milano but not also for Pence. I don't think anyone has ever shot a politician at an NRA rally either.

Neither Pence nor the NRA had a choice. Milano does. Pence isnt trying to promote gun control. Milano is. Milano wants armed guards watching her back but doesn't want average Joe's to have guns.

I don't think she wants to have armed guards protect her. I think she feels it is required given the current situation and where and what she is saying. That seems reasonable.

Yeah, and Alyssa Milano is making the smart choice of having protection when she is advocating a political opinion as a public figure for gun control for the same reasons that the secret service is smart to do the same.

As I said before, there are people on here who talk very poorly about the police and how they are "armed tax collectors" and other things. If they had a car stolen, they would call the police and it wouldn't be hypocritical. It's just dealing with the reality of the world we live in. To use a more personal example, I'm clearly anti-single payer healthcare. If it was passed into law I would sign up and use it even if I didn't like it.

Also, as I pointed out, Alyssa Milano is not against all guns.

If Alyssa Milano's position was that all guns should be destroyed, she'd be hypocritical.

But, of course, that's not her position. She thinks certain trained people should have guns. You may think that's a crazy thought but her having armed security is not at all hypocritical at all.
