Also, NBC can put DeJesus on waivers yesterday and keep Glanville on all the time.

It does seem like he's auditioning for someone's job. Whether it's JD or DeJesus.

Not true. He plays 1st and 3rd base as well as catcher and can hit from either side of the plate, so he's a valuable pinch hitter.

That was a key play. He's a good hitter but has always been suseptible to defensive lapses.

See, all it took was a series against yet another of the tanking teams of the lower tier league to imbue feelings of unsupported self confidence.

Your dumbass hasn't even read the thread. Just saw the score, and your troll boner brought you here.

The writers will be all over the Cubbie offense today, but honestly they don't have this type of game without grit of one Jose Quintana out there on the mound. Dude is nails.

I'd like to see him top three examples of alliteration in one sentence.

Cubs hitters can go up there calm and collected, knowing that they won't have to do too much since Quintana is as reliable as they come, giving up 2 or fewer runs in most of his starts. Hitters don't need to press.

We have a first and third baseman, he won't get the at bats he needs on the big league team unless somebody misses significant time.

But you can give Rizzo a day off against a particularly tough lefty, play Caratini.....Play Caratini at third once a week, with Bryant in the outfield.....play Caratini one a week at catcher and now he has at least 3 days a week starting and pinch hitting a couple more. he's great insurance at 3 positions.

Unless hes dying or dead Rizzo should be playing over 155 games.
