Of course, some of these may be mere errors in production instead of intentional continuity errors, but with a show as meticulous as this, it's hard to believe we aren't seeing multiple timelines play out.

Really enjoyed the episode. Didn't think I cared about backstory of William but it worked.

Old William and Lawrence going through Pariah and seeing how much it changed was great. And Giancarlo Esposito as the liberator who was a Robert trap was nice.

Dolores and Teddy got their army and she knows what Glory is. She says a weapon of some kind and old William says it's his greatest mistake.

The cold open was solid as well. Logan's incredulity at how advanced the hosts were was very well done.

We see Logan all fucked up at Old Man Delos's retirement party. I'm interested in what happened to him after William sent him off naked on the horse and how William was able to win that power struggle within Delos. This week we got to see the old trope of the hard ass businessman who suddenly respects the young pussy because he talks tough to him.

How many of the hosts are actually sentient and taking part in the revolution of their own free will? Dolores and Maeve are the only ones we've seen go on any kind of existential journey, the rest could be just as easily be playing out their narratives, still, while spouting the "valley beyond" preacher-type stuff Dolores is spewing (which I'm getting increasingly tired of, BTW, there's no better dialogue they can come up with for her?).

Teddy slips right back into his law-man narrative ("Just trying to keep the peace."), Eyes Wide Apart chick was shown as part of Wyatt's gang in season 1, which was supposedly a narrative already in play in Season 1, and Hector is just a killing machine like he always was.

I think they're all free but yes only Dolores and Maeve are fully sentient.

Teddy is starting to buy not sure it'll take.

Angela and Hector are the same way. They know what's happening but they aren't really thinking.

It seems as if Bernard always knew that Dolores was "special". Maeve obviously has been turned up to "11".

One thing I'm finding somewhat unbelievable is that Beta Cuck William suddenly became an Uber-Alpha. Breaking Bad handled Walt a lot better. Walt was clearly always an Alpha, he had just been beaten down by life. I had a lot less trouble believing him as Heisenberg than I do believing William is the "Man in Black".

I think that's part of what they'll show this season with William and his takeover of Delos.

Also having a hard time grasping why, if Delos owns the park, other Delos operatives (Charlotte, particularly) need to be so secretive about securing Abernathy and whatever data he holds. The events of Season 1 tell us that Delos had been trying to get information out of a Delos-owned park for some time, well before Ford's new narrative was even announced.

They could own the park but Ford maintained all rights to the hosts and all the technology behind them.

Though that doesn't jive with William taking the hosts out for the party.

Who knows.

Definitely different timelines going on for Bernard about Abernathy. Hale is shown with her team encoutnering Bernard after they got split up, and oddly asked Bernard about Abernathy's whereabouts. But later, Hale is shown finding and escaping with Abernathy.

So the girl from India World is with Ghost Nation. She will be William's daughter I think.

Plus I guess we see why Teddy was drowned in the first episode.

Also still weary of a pending twist with how much attention they paid to Bernard not knowing in what order things happened.

I think the big plan is trying for immortality by placing copies of human brain in a host body. William has been trying and failing for years with James, whereas I think Ford succeeded. That's what's in Peter Abernathy; the key to being able to replace humans with hosts.

We've gone from Westworld to Altered Carbon. It's a more interesting concept than the robot revolution trope though. I thought the show took a couple steps toward the horror genre last night, e.g. when Bernard and Elsie discovered the slashed up and crazed Delos riding his stationary bike and the absolutely chilling moment when Lawrence's daughter spoke to William in perfect English.

The stuff with Jim felt straight out of Lost season 2 with Desmond and the hatch. Lawrence's daughter has done this twice now to William and once to Dolores.

Plus I didn't even touch on the Ghost Nation stuff. The elder was the guy with Angela who met Logan for the demonstration. And they seem to be only killing hosts and saving humans.

The big reveal of whose "consciousness" Bernard retrieved in the past will be Ford's. I could see either Anthony Hopkins or another host being implanted with it. Either way, a version of Ford will live again.
