It's not salty, it's factual. The Cubs were embraced by their fans and their ownership as 'The Lovable Losers' for a number of decades. A few years of recent winning doesn't change that history.

They were not losing when I started following them in 1967. Every year in that era(67-73),they were picked to finish first or second place. OK,after that things got sketchy. They have had some good seasons starting with '84 of course.
