Had a neighbor die this way but instead of a zero turn it was an old narrow front farm tractor. Rolled on a hill and crushed him. From what I gather it wasn’t instantaneous so yeah, that would suck.

I’m absolutely paranoid bout it. Still remembering seeing the ambulance driving through the guys back yard as I looked out my back door 3/4 ish of a mile away. Had just heard of a young woman being in a terrible accident that morning near by. Rough day for the community.

I had an uncle pass, not from ALS but a related motor-neuron disease... it took probably about seven to eight years from onset to his passing and not only do you have to deal with the physical things to where you can't feed yourself or take a dump without help, but the mental anguish of knowing that there's no chance you are going to be cured of this and the feeling that you become a burden to your wife and children... and it goes on for -years-. They went through a lot of mental and emotional pain--I would definitely put that high on the list.

I always thought drowning in a grain bin of flowing corn would suck. Another thing that keeps me up at night.

Wait now that I actually read the headline of my post it doesn't seem so bad. Being caught on the underside of overturned riding mower is a walk in the park compared to being caught on the underside of a non-overturned riding mower.
