Torture. There are some very bad people out there. A friend who is former British special forces from back in the 80s, who was deep in Afghanistan saw some shit. Slicing someone from the chin, up to forehead then across and back down. Then taking a stick and slowly roll/peel the face off. Essentially, flaying. Injections of adrenaline to keep the person from passing out, so they can enjoy the process. Blowtorch to body parts, etc.

Eaten by sharks would suck.

Being eaten alive by a cougar cannot feel good. There is something amiss about the story of those bikers in Washington state being attacked by one. I don't believe the survivor is telling the truth, because it's seems far fetched that a cougar would have attacked two of them unprovoked. Why didn't they just ride away on their bikes rather than facing the creature and antagonizing it, which they no doubt did? Stupid humans.
