i have a coworker in his mid 20's. 5-6 years ago while in college was a huge lefty. campaigned for Bustos and did a ton of work for the local dnc. come 2 years ago was a big Bernie guy. Bernie heeling to Clinton just really killed him. over the past few years i've seen his views transition in typical textbook fashion. But he basically feels like as a white straight male that the democratic party is no longer for him. he has no place there. no personal benefit for his participation. feeling empathy for females, lgbt, and minorities can only go so far. he has goals too.

I don't think he's alone and i think its bad for the democrats. trump is trash but he's more centrish trash that any other republican candidate. If young men see continued success in their portfolios and other business like progress across the globe, you'll see them swing in secret.

This has been the story for decades, the big difference being that white women and the gays aren't following in lockstep to the extent they used to.

And now disillusioned Berniebros are really nothing more than 2018 Ralph Nader voters now claiming to be libertarians and falling for the bile spewed by has-beens like Alan Dershowitz.

If being McNown is your eventual goal, you're on the right track.

If being a smug asshole is your eventual goal, you don't need to exert any more effort.

Bernie has been honest about the way Congress works. I don't think there is any other candidate that came close to that. He also took Hilary to task for being a sell-out to Wall Street. That alone made him a superior candidate. There was a far greater conspiracy to deny him the nomination through the DNC than Hillary faced in the general.

Bernie did get shafted by the DNC, but as some have noted, he never really was a Democrat. And of course a Democrat like Hillary had ties to Wall Street. You need lots of money to run for office.

Why would you put that in brackets? It's an empty point already. I guess you want to show that you also don't understand punctuation.

As noted previously noted, you have to be a pretty big hypocrite to complain about an unfair election process, when she essentially rigged the nomination.

You live in a state of perpetual offense otherwise you would not start name calling every time a point you don't agree with is made.

Quit posting and driving btw. It's not safe.

It used to be if you disagreed with B Mac he would instantly call you a republican. I guess now he’s switching it up to Bernie Bro.

Nothing at all McNownish about that.

I use brackets sometimes, I'm never sure if I use them correctly. I'm a terrible writer and reader. I tend to write how I speak. I always worry how it comes off because it isn't a strength.

Yea they have really picked some strange leadership to get them through this Trump years. Continuing to trot Hillary out as a tragic hero (when at this point at least 2/3rds of the country actively hate her) is bad enough, but having some shithead 17 year old talk down to the entire country like he is the only one who knows what he's talking about is next-level tone deaf.

Hillary Clinton's political career is over. She isn't relevant anymore. People continue to overstate her importance because they think it is a political win for Trump. If they can continue to make her the opponent then maybe he will get re-elected.
