Someone traded a good prospect for James Shields when he was 2-7 with a 4.28 era. Unlikely, but anything is possible.

We don't know that.

Have you lost faith in saint Theo?

Theo will always be my humminbird.

But Heyward is just awful. What do you think they could get for him?

The only way they are trading Heyward is if by some miracle he ends up hitting .270 or.280 with 15 homers and they eat the money. I don't give a shit about any speech, this was one of the worst Cub signings in my lifetime.

Hopefully, won't be saying this about Darvish in a few years.

Yep, anything is possible. Somebody gave mental midget Yu Darvish $120 million.

Yep. I guess 'Respect 90' is discretionary.

Rizzo is carrying on a not-proud tradition of Cubs first basemen: Derrek Lee was a master of the "somebody better hold me back but in the meantime I'll hold myself back" shuffle.

Except Rizzo already stepped to whole Reds dugout (by himself) years ago, so no, he doesnt go in the Lee category.

Right. Someone once traded a 22 year old Gio Gonzalez for Nick Swisher, too. Crazy shit happens all the time in baseball.
