At what point are you going to start making a few?

Disciplined or play the game the way it should be played? You didn't bring this up until they are 2 wins away from playing in the finals?

For the record i had them in the Finals when guys like you didn't think they were shit. I'd bump the comments for validation but you'd be offended because i bumped them for validation.

Didn't think that they'd make this sort of run without Irving nor Haywood. I also don't recall you claiming it either. You only did it because you hate Philly and would probably pick the Latin school over them with your biased ass.

I didn't have them over Philly abd didn't really have them over Cleveland either.

I'm simply watching the game and commenting as opposed to you who only ever chimes in to comment about the comments. You never have an original thought on anything and all you are is a damn diss machine.

Find a new bag.

For the record i was the only guy to have them over Cleveland before the season since you like to reference things i say so damn much. I already bumped the thread. Read it and also reaffirm how you said they had no chance bandwagon man.

When the Irving Trade was made i had them over Cleveland.

When he got hurt i didn't think they'd do much. I was wrong. I really gave up when Hayward got hurt. With their full team i had them over Cleveland.

I didn't predict this and neither did you by the way.

I'm still not predicting anything. I'm simply watching and commenting on the game. For some reason that bothers you. You really are a bitter dude that needs to get a grip

This really isn't about whom i like or don't like. I didn't have them to do much (without Irving and Hayward) and I'm not sitting pretending that i did.

Neither did you by the way but it still hasn't prevented you from talking shit anyway.

If Boston wins this series in 4 or 5 we may have to legitimately start to ask if Stevens is a better coach than Popovich. I know Pop is no worse than the 3rd best coach of all time but the game eventually passes every great coach by.

I was having this conversation last night. Unless Boston wins 1 of the next 2 in Cleveland none of this matters. The reality is Boston shouldn't be here. Their coaching may carry them to the NBA Finals. How much is that worth?

Stevens deserves all the credit he’s getting but let’s not act like he’s carrying nobodies out there. Horford is an All Star. Brown and Tatum are future stars who are already playing like it. Smart, Rozier, and morris have all been playing great in the playoffs.

They still have a lot of talent on the court right now.

I don't think Ainge has received enough credit. He might be the best GM in the game right now. I though it was Presti or Buford but I might be Ainge. He hasn't missed on too many draft picks over the years. He has an eye for talent.

The NBA is broken no doubt. This playoffs has been the least competitive and entertaining playoffs I've ever seen in professional sports. There hasn't been a good series since the first round! Not a single series in the second round went past 5 games and it looks like the so called real NBA finals between GS and Hou is going to be done in 5 games as well. Boston vs Cleveland is close in terms of series, but every game has been a blowout one way or the other.

And when it all comes down to it, there's exactly one person to blame for this shit. Kevin fucking Durant. He single handely ruined the competitive balance of the league. Some people have argued that he doesn't owe anything to the league, only himself but I completely disagree with that. In the NBA< the most star driven league in all of pro sports, the elite of the elite have a duty to not only take care of themselves and their team, but also do their part to help the league advance. MJ did it, Magic, Bird, AI, and the list goes on and on of super stars who helped make the league better for everyone.

Kevin Durant took the opposite approach. He said, fuck the leauge, I'm gonna get mine. And as a result we are left with a pro league where the results are more known in advance than pro wrestling. If Durant had stayed in OKC or gone to literally any other fucking team in the league other than the team that just won a league record 73 games, we would see a totally different competitive landscape in the league today. We'd have better teams, less tankers, less abortions like OKC this year and just an all around more entertaining product.

At the end of the day, this is Durant's legacy. Made the league unwatchable in pursuit of his selfish beta goals.

it really has been a big let down after a promising 1st round, which usually is a snoozer for me. but these conference finals are bogus. blowout wins to carry a series doesn't make it compelling.

yeah this is true. I think one of the bigger things in addition to the competitive imbalance is the injuries to key players that seems to happen during every season now. That is effecting the outcomes of series also. This year you have Irving, Leonard, Cousins, (3 top 10) guys out and Hayward is a top 20-25 guy. If you have Irving and Hayward Competing then the series against G.S. becomes a lot more interesting. If Leonard Plays then it might be S.A. instead of Houston in the Finals. Cousins makes the series against G.S. a lot more competitive. Injuries to star players are what has been ruining the playoffs the past 4-5 years too. I just don't remember that happening to the extent that it happens now.

yea I think the only series that has been even watchable in the past 2 rounds was Boston vs Philly and even that only went 5 games despite most of the games being very close.

Completely agree. I cannot stand him. I still cannot fathom the idea that you were on the brink of beating the Warriors and instead of coming back to get them you just decide to say fuck it, I am going to join them. What a pussy

I can never cheer for the Warriors. Fuck Durant and Fuck the Warriors.

cavs showing their experience. pretty damn amazing how lebron, smith, korver and thompson are basically the entire team and theyre tied 2-2 in ECF.

but yea, no matter who wins, cavs or celtics, neither team holds a prayer against the warrirors.. or the rockets for that matter...

The Celtics struggle scoring and without Kyrie they don't have a guy they can give the ball to and say "get me a basket". Horford is playing like the same guy he's always been. The unnecessary switching on defense is stupid.

The Warriors are the best team in the NBA by a decent margin.

Cavaliers are second best.

A healthy Boston could be third best.
