Interesting that they don't include panhandling/begging in that list.

Would sleeping be acceptable as long as you are not snoring?

It seems that it only took one day for there to be strong pushback from employees, shareholders, and the landlords of the places Starbucks leases from. They already have heavily modified the policy and I expect that after a few more days they will be doing so even more. You don't push away your paying customers to accommodate people who are not there to spend money.

I guess it's just fun to watch when someone comes up with an incredibly bad idea and it fails exactly as everyone predicted it would.

It's pretty clear that the exec who came up with this idea has never set foot into their own stores.

To Ogie's point, when we are fed bullshit and expected to accept it at face value, it's satisfying to see the bullshitter backtrack.

I'm on record as a Tesla skeptic...I've been saying they will never sell a $35k Model 3. And now Musk comes out saying they are going to offer "loaded" versions for up to $78k (more than the standard Model S), and stated they would not be making the $35k units anytime soon, because if they did, "the company would die."

Speaking of the Model 3...

https://www.consumerreports.org/hybrids ... mendation/

“The Tesla’s stopping distance of 152 feet from 60 mph was far worse than any contemporary car we’ve tested and about 7 feet longer than the stopping distance of a Ford F-150 full-sized pickup,” Consumer Reports said.

Yeah, saw that...first they disputed CR testing, and then Musk says it can be fixed by a "firmware update."

Yeah, he really should leave the car building to Ford, Honda, BMW, etc.

I still do not whether you mean the design and engineering of automobiles or the manufacturing process?

manufacturing primarily. He should leave that to the experts. His company could be make a fortune in licensing if they let car makers do what they do best.

Can't wait for him to say he's going to start building airplanes.

If they are only closing for one day, I can't imagine this is a very long race they are training for.

I see they’re combatting the homeless issue in the Canal and Roosevelt location by removing tables for them and the paying customers to sit at. Looks like they took 3 out .

I have to laugh at how ridiculous the media can be: https://www.fastcompany.com/40578317/bl ... osed-today

Try black owned coffee places because Starbucks is racist.
