In general I like how differently the postseason is officiated. I wish the regular season was officiated the same way. In the playoffs refs don’t usually bail out guys on wreckless drives with incidental contact.

I think Harden has been struggling with the different style of officiating (not tonight). He isn't getting bailed out on his forays to the bucket like he does in the regular season. They aren't calling those ticky tack fouls where he flails his arms as he drives to the bucket. What would be a foul in the regular season is more often than not resulting in a turnover or a wild shot at the rim.

Yup. Westbrook struggles with that a bit as well. It was a clear issue for LeBron in the Cavs/Indy series. It’s dumb the refs don’t officiate the regular season this way. Make guys earn it.
