I like how they say "Then something happened. We had to deal with spam, clickbait fake news, data misuse..." instead of "We were responsible for spam, clickbait fake news, data misuse..."

I’m not what’s worse / that part, or the whole Wells Fargo tagline of “Est. 1852. Re-established 2018” while basing the whole rest of the commercial on its nastalgic roots as a company that used to be trusted with people’s money.

I swear I was just saying the same thing about these 2 commercials to my wife last week. It's really annoying because the commercials are not only a shitty apology but they seem to repeat every single commercial break while I'm watching a show. It's like someone who keeps saying "I'm so sorry" over and over until you're like "IT"S OK NOW STFU!"
Sometimes sorry isn't enough tho. I used to have an account with both

It's so easy to not use Wells Fargo if you want to avoid them. I just don't get why people keep returning to businesses like them.

Go bank with your regional bank or credit union and when you apply for a mortgage, car loan, etc. don't take out the loan with WF. It's really that simple.
