Next time you drive down 26th street between Stewart and shields on the south side of street take a look at those bush league "gardens" that's the Chicago white sox farm.

You're just blatantly making shit up.

It would be like me repeatedly saying the Sox are better than the Cubs right now, despite the enormous amount of evidence contradicting that claim.

Sox have one of the best farm systems in baseball, Cubs have one of the worst. It shouldn't bother you that the cupboard is bare because your table is full. But don't make shit up.

They are both 4th place teams.
And both 1.5 games out of 3rd place.

Just listened to the replay of Theo’s interview earlier this morning. Calling this thing “fantasy land” is bullshit. We know he talked with the Orioles and made an offer over the winter. It comes down to what Duquette wants. If it’s multiple young arms, Machado likely goes elsewhere. If Baltimore likes 1, maybe 2, of Russell-Happ-Schwarber, plus a minor league arm — you do that deal.

Nope. Cubs are 1/2 game back and Sox are 4 and 1/2.

The disadvantage of any Cub offer is that it is going to be centered around players who have already used up significant amounts of controllable years

True. Although, you still get 3.5 more controlled years from Russell and Schwarber, and 4.5 from Happ. Plus, you’ve seen these guys play and produce at the major league level and see the upside/downside.

I would take the proven commodity over the Buxton's or Appel's of the world. Sure you lose a couple of years but you don't really have to worry about them being a bust.
